PartyLite has always been dedicated to transforming people’s homes and lives, and that extends to our greater global community. Through the volunteer work of our Consultants and staff plus corporate charitable giving, we continue to extend PartyLite’s warmth across the world. In the last decade, PartyLite has raised over $23 million for charitable causes. Please read below for more information about our contributions to a few of our charities and initiatives.
American Cancer Society
In 1997, the American Cancer Society became our “charity of focus” in recognition of the widespread nature of the disease. Statistics indicate that one in three women in the United States will develop some form of cancer in their lifetime. Every year, donations are collected throughout the PartyLite family. Fundraisers may be as small as a bake sale, or as large as a combined meeting of more than 500 people.
Celebration on the Hill
Teamwork helps in fundraising, just as in business. With over 350 teams around the country, PartyLite’s participation in the Relay For Life has continued to help support the cause. And, when the American Cancer Society needs light, whom do they call? We were proud to donate 25,000 tealights for the luminaria of the Celebration on the Hill in Washington D.C. in 2006. This unique event celebrated cancer survivors and advocated for laws to fight the disease. With our tealights shining bright we were proud to help make the Celebration on the Hill a momentous occasion.
Change the World Campaign
The Change the World Campaign lets everyone participate in the giving! When PartyLite Hosts and Guests buy home fragrances and accents, the Consultant may invite them to round up the purchase price to the nearest dollar or up to $10 so that the additional money can be donated to the American Cancer Society. The generosity of our Hosts and Guests continues to be overwhelming and inspiring.
PartyLite National Conference
A tradition at the annual PartyLite National Conference is the presentation of the year’s donations in a check to the American Cancer Society. Giving over the past 10 years has totaled over $10 million. It’s one more PartyLite way of “people helping people!”
Corporate IMPACT Award
PartyLite receives corporate Impact Award from American Cancer society. Annually, the ACS awards companies who donate more than $1 million annually. Ronald McDonald House
Each year at our National Conference, the PartyLite team makes donations to contribute to the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House. It’s a “thank you” to the host city and a gift to an organization devoted to the well-being of children and families in special circumstances. We’re proud to say that donations made to the local House over a 10-year period have totaled more than $255,000!
Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Since 1974, a stay in a Ronald McDonald House has comforted more than 10 million families around the world.

Partnering with the Today Show on NBC
This year’s contribution of more than $3 million in products to the TODAY Show Charitable Foundation takes PartyLite’s four-year total to more than $9 million in retail value. Products are donated to nonprofit organizations served by the Today Show’s efforts.
